ARE YOU SURE YOU LOVE GOD?

Are you Sure You Love God?

God loves us, He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins and He say whoever believes In His only begooten Son Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life. What a loving Father! Jesus christ also loves us so much that He gave His life to die for our Sins. and God raised Him up from the dead. Jesus christ Loves us so much that He intercedes For Us before God. But yet we human fail to reciprocate that Love. God loves us and You has a child of God is expected to love Him in return. But the truth is many today who claim to love God say this just with words of mouth. It is not shown in their actions and deeds.

So I ask Are you sure you Love GOD? What in your actions and deeds shows that you Love God?

In this short write – up backed up by the scriptures. In John 4 vs 19 -21. It is written
”We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, ”I love God,” yet hates His brother, He is a liar for anyone who does not love His brother, whom He has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: whoever Loves God must also love His brother.

In our environment of today, many who claim to be sons and daughters of God. Don’t even live in Love with their brothers and sisters, friends. Many live in disharmony and hatred. Many aren’t living in Love. Yet they claim to love God.

Am not writing this to judge anyone. But the truth must be told. The simple truth which is backed by the scriptures; you can’t claim to love God whom you have not seen, when you brother whom you have seen you hate him.

God is love and the truth in 1 John 4:16
”And so we know and rely on the Love God has for us.
God is love, whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him”.

We ought to know that Love is the fulfilment of the Law. In Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfilment of the law.

So anyone who claims to love God won’t live in hatred towards God, friends even towards enemies. Except for the fact that you must Hate the devil.

In today, children of God love the world more than they Love God. It is said by Paul that Sons and daughters of God are made alive in christ and dead to the world.but it isn’t the same in the lives of christians, believers of today. A believers faith must be borne out by Love.

In 1 John 2:15 It is written
”Do not love the world or anything in the world, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For everything in the world -the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will God lives forever.”

You can’t claim to love God and yet continue in Sin, you can’t claim to love God and yet don’t believe in Jesus christ, you can’t claim to love God and yet love the things of the world more than you Love God.

So I ask again Are you sure you love God.

If you truly claim to love God. You will serve Him in spirit and in truth, you will believe in Him and also believe in Jesus christ. If you truly claim to Love God all you do will be borne out of Love and you will Joyfully even in the face of challenges. You will live in love, joy, peace, gentleness, patience, humility, holiness.

God loves us and he expects us to reciprocate the love by Fellowshiping in Him in Love, spirit and in truth.

Let’s not allow the grace of God be for nothing sake.
Don’t let us let the Love of God towards us be in vain.
Rather we should live in Love, grow in grace and the the Love and Grace of God be sufficient for us.
